  1. Good luck with your new challenge Rika.
Concerning your legs, you should try some aqua bike http://www.femmeactuelle.fr/bien-etre/sport-et-gym/fiches-sports/aquabiking-velo-dans-l-eau-00360/%28page%29/4 or aqua aerobics.

  2. Thanks Carine!Yes that will be an interesting quest.

The link above is not working, try this one: http://www.femmeactuelle.fr/bien-etre/sport-et-gym/fiches-sports/aquabiking-velo-dans-l-eau-00360. Althoug I can't read it (was a bad french pupil at school ;o) it looks so funny. I can imagine that once out of that water again one can't walk anymore.

  3. Sorry for the incorrect link. I just wanted to show you a picture of this bike.
In this article, they say that this sport is ideal for the legs because of the water resistance (12 times more resistant than air) when pedaling. The buttock, the calves, the tights, and the lower abdomen are involved.
You should check if you can find this sport at your gym center to give it a try.
Otherwise, you can maybe try aqua aerobics and fins swimming.

  4. Hehe, I am not much of a water person, but this could be very interesting for others as those water exercises are low impact on the joints by increased intensity.
